Tonya Buckholtz

Tonya Elizabeth Buckholtz “TT”, 49, of Lonaconing went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 23, 2020 at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland. Born on December 16, 1970 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Charles Buckholtz and Norma Fay (Custer) Buckholtz.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God, Lonaconing. She graduated from Valley High School in 1988 and then went on to have a joyous career at Egle Nursing and Rehab as a GCNA for 28 years. Tonya loved nothing more in life than spending quality time with her family as well as extended family. She also enjoyed holiday traditions such as hosting Fourth of July cookouts and loved driving to see the Christmas light displays at Oglebay Park. She was a great part of the community and was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. TT is now where she longed to be, with her mom and dad in heaven.

She is survived by her fiancé; Stanley “Stan” Broadwater, one sister; Charlene Rosenberger and husband Harry, one niece; Stacey Rosenberger, one nephew; Shane Rosenberger and wife Sarah, four great nieces; Lorien  Brow, Avery Ewing, Ainsley Ewing and Mia Rosenberger, one great nephew; Liam Stafford, one great great nephew; Ezra Rosenberger and three of her fiancé’s children; David “Biggy”, Curtis and Anna Broadwater.

Family and Friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home P.A., Lonaconing on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Wednesday July 29, 2020 from 9:00-11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Butch Wright officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
