Thomas “Tj” Reese

Thomas J. “TJ” Reese, aged 46, passed away at his residence in Lonaconing on Saturday, February 20, 2021.  He was born November 18, 1974 in Wytheville, VA.  He was the son of the late Thomas F. Reese who passed away on February 20, 2001 and Sharon (Oester) Reese.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his ex-wife, Brenda Reese; his sons, Owen and Aaryn Reese; his grandmother, Helen Oester; his sister, Windi Wilson and husband Jeff; his nephew, Brandon Tichnell and wife Katrina; his uncles, Wayne Oester and wife Barb and Jeff Reese and wife Carol and special cousins Kelly Durst and Derrick Oester.

TJ was employed by life-long friend, Dave McKenzie Home Improvement after many years of driving truck.  He enjoyed spending time in the garage with his friends sharing trucking stories.  TJ’s sons were his pride and joy.  They have many good memories of tractor pulls, mud bogs and just hanging with their dad.

Family and Friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home P.A., Lonaconing on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM . Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with the Pastor G.W “Charlie” Hinkle officiating. TJ will be cremated and inurnment will be held at Trinity UCC Church of Christ in New Germany, MD at a later date by the family.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in the form of donations may be made to Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home P.A. to help with TJ’s final expenses.

Due to the restrictions of the Covid-19 Virus, face masks and practicing safe social distancing will be required.
