Steven Cadwallader

Steven Troy Cadwallader, 46, of O'Mara Avenue, Midland died Friday, May 27, 2011 at his residence after his courageous battle with cancer. Born June 15, 1964 in Cumberland he was the son of the late John Cadwallader and Ruth (Stevenson) Cadwallader.

Steven was a graduate of Valley High School and a former member of the Midland Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting and was a big fan of the N.Y. Jets.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Lyn (Warnick) Cadwallader; eight children, Shannon Slifco of Frostburg, Celeste Broadwater at home, Stephenie Cadwallader of Frostburg, Mallory Broadwater at home, Sarah Cadwallader of Midland, Kayla Broadwater at home, Katie Broadwater at home and David "Biggy" Broadwater also at home; one grandson, Nathaniel Slifco of Frostburg; two brothers, Leo Roger Cadwallader of TN and John Arthur "Jackie" Cadwallader, Jr. of Frostburg; one sister, Sandra Gilpin and husband Joseph of Gilmore; numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful companion "Lucky", his dog.

Family and Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. ( www.eichhornmckenzie.com ), Midland on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from Noon - 1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Cowan officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the Midland Fire Hall.
