Sarah Jean Shockey, 26, of Old Beechwood Road died at her residence on November 19, 2013. She was born on November 11, 1987 in Cumberland and was the daughter of Steven "Quincy" Shockey and Lois (Scott) Shockey of Lonaconing.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James E. Shockey, grandmother, Jean Scott and one aunt, Desiree Lynn Scott.
She was a 2005 graduate of Westmar High School. Sarah knew so many people and had made many friends throughout her short life. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Together with her parents she is survived by her husband, Shane Lancaster and their daughter, Lyrica; her brother, Steven Adam "Quincy" Shockey and wife Alicia of LaVale; one niece and one nephew, Meredith and Alex Shockey; grandparents, Betty Shockey and Bob Scott and Helen all of Lonaconing; two uncles and one aunt, James S. Shockey of Lonaconing, Bob Scott Cleveland, OH and Denise Wilt of Lonaconing; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stephen and Sharon Lancaster of Lonaconing and brother-in-law Stephen Lancaster, II of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6-8 PM.
