Robert “Bob” Hobart Kinney, 64, of Big Lane, Midland died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born on February 25, 1952 in Antioch, WV he was the son of the late Harold Kinney and Priscilla Coleman Gracie.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, Harold, Ernie, Roy and Carolyn Sue.
Bob retired from AES Warrior Run, Cumberland. He enjoyed golfing, relic hunting, camping and riding his Harley. He spent decades home brewing and won several competitions. Above all, his grandson Taelem was his world.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Teri (Wilson) Kinney; three children, Zachary Brinkman and wife Leah of Frostburg, Christopher Brinkman and fiancé Kelly of Front Royal, VA and Rachel Blank and husband John at home; one grandson, Taelem Garner; a brother, Tom Kinney of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Debbie Smith and husband Dewayne of Middleburg, FL; step-father, Ned Gracie of Frostburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P,A,, Midland on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 1:00PM with Rev. Daniel Montague officiating. Interment will be held at Thrush Cemetery, Antioch, WV.
