Rhoda Folk

Rhoda Mae Folk 91, a patient at Western Md. Health System and Rehab Center,Frostburg ,Md died July 15, 2010, at WMHSystem,Cumberland,Md. Born at Frostburg ,Md Nov. 1, 1919 a daughter of the late George Edward Skidmore and Martha ( Williams) Skidmore. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Raymond Folk and brother Harry and sisters Mary.Sara,Margaret,Catherine and Dorothy.

Rhoda was a member of Welch Baptist Church ,Frostburg, Md. Former employee of Stoops Restaurant and American Legion of Frostburg,Md

Surviving two sons Ronald Dale Folk, Midland,Md and John Lee Folk,North Carolina,Grandchildren Deanna,Ronald Dale Jr, and Trish and Great Grandchildren Chris,Katie and Devann and one sister Gladys McKenzie,patient at Devlin Manor Nursing Home,Cumberland,also surviving several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A.,Midland,Md. (www.eichhornmckenzie.com) on Wed. July 21, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM. at the funeral home by Rev. George Harpold. At her request she was cremated. Inurnment will be at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery,near Flintstone,Md.
