Milton Robert(Bob) Fairgrieve of Newt St, Moscow went home to be with Jesus on May 7, 2024 at the age of 87.
Mr. Fairgrieve was born May 26, 1936 at home in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Milton and Beatrice Fairgrieve.
He is preceded in Death by his one true love, his wife, Delores Jean Fairgrieve and their infant son Ricky. Also preceded in death by his sister, Carol (Fairgrieve) Kline and brother Raymond Fairgrieve.
He is survived by his children, Shelby (Fairgrieve) McDonald of Lonaconing, Robert Fairgrieve and husband Joseph of Lonaconing and Crystal (Fairgrieve) Snyder of Cumberland. His brother Ronnie Fairgrieve and wife Denise of Pekin. A Nephew, Raymond Kline. His grandchildren, Ashley Cole, Richard McDonald, Brandy Reynolds, Amanda Lemmon, Tonya Thompson and John Lemmon. In addition, he is survived by 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. His great granddaughter, Cambria Cole, was the absolute light of his life. His face always lit up whenever she was around him.
Mr. Fairgrieve was a lifetime member of First Assembly of God church in Lonaconing. He devoted his life to serving God and made sure even his grandchildren were in church with him on Sundays. He was a construction worker by trade, and enjoyed racing stockcars and playing guitar in his younger years. He had a passion for beekeeping and raised honeybees for many years.
Mr. Fairgrieve was a stern man at times, but loved his family more than anything. He will never be forgotten by those who loved him most.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rob Culler officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the UPMC Hospice department, and more specifically to Corrine and Jane for the amazing care and compassion they gave to their Dad in his last days. Also we would like to extend a special thank you to Raymond Kline, Mr. Fairgrieve's nephew, for being such an amazing friend, helper and companion to him
