Mary Shorter

Mary Nell Shorter 73 of O'Mara Avenue, Midland, Md died November 12, 2010 at the residence of her daughter Donna Brownlee, Midland, Md.

Born at Morristown, TN on May 13, 1937 a daughter of the late Roy Grady Wright and Margaret Virginia (Owens) Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Shorter.

Mary was a member of Grace United Methodist Midland, Md, Former factory worker at Formica manufacturing Corp.

Surviving daughters Donna Brownlee, Midland, Linda Shorter, N.J., Sharon Shorter Baltimore, Melissa Bramell Baltimore and one son Shawn Shorter Baltimore,  Two grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Two Sisters Phyllis Louttrell, TN and Mildred Eads,  St. Louis, Missouri. Two brothers James A. Wright, TN, and Harvey Wright, Indiana. Several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A., 19814 Big Lane., Midland,Md ( www.eichhorn-mckenziefh.com ) on Sunday Nov. 14, 2010 from 12-2 P.M. A Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home by Rev. Harry Burchell Interment in Cedar Hill  Cemetery, Brooklyn,Md

Friends will be also received at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Service, 1 2nd Ave, SW Glen Burnie, Md on Monday November 15, 2010 from 11 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. in the chaple by Rev. Dr. James Kirk officiating.  Interment will fallow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Brooklyn, Md
