Mary Louise Emch, 93, of Lonaconing, died July 12, 2010 at the Egle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she has been a patient since 2002.
Born at Mount Savage on Sept. 19, 1916, she was a daughter of the late John Neder and Matalda (Workmeister) Neder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dallas Emch in 1979; brother, John Neder; sister, Edith Ewall; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Muster.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Lonaconing, and retired as secretary of the Tri-State Beauty Academy, Cumberland.
Surviving is her son, Dallas John Emch and wife Cheryl, Elmira, Ore.; brother-in-law, John Muster, Lonaconing; and nieces
Edith and Kelly
and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. (

), Lonaconing, on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating.
At her request she will be cremated after services.
Inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
If desired donations could be made to First Presbyterian Church, Lonaconing, Good Will Fire Co., Lonaconing or Georges Creek Rescue Squad, Lonaconing.
