Marjorie Jean Bell, 82, of Cumberland, died Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Peace Health Care, Cumberland. Born on October 27, 1942 in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Leona Ackerman.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Bell, granddaughter, Shawn Gentry, an infant great-grandson and a brother, Bill Ackerman.
Marjorie retired as a explosives operator from ABL. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching John Wayne westerns.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Gentry and Brenda Jones; three grandchildren, Samantha Gentry, Brianna Jones and Scott Gentry and wife Jennifer; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandy Langer; three brothers, Ronnie Ackerman, Ted Ackerman and John Ackerman and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
