Margaret "Peggy" Kidwell

Margaret “Peggy” Ann Kidwell, 75, of Pershing Street, Lonaconing went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her home. Born on September 19, 1946 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late Annie Bogie.

Peggy was a 1964 graduate of Valley High School. She was a devoted mother and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed crafting, traveling and camping. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Westernport.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, Gene Kidwell; three children, Regina Shuhart and husband Dwayne of Greensburg, PA, David Kidwell and wife Christy of Lonaconing and Eddie Kidwell and wife Julia of LaVale; six grandchildren, Laura, Emilie and husband Michael Rupp, Alexander, Noah, Grayce and Ryleigh; two great-grandchildren, Archer and Aubrie; a sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Preston and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating. Interment will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Alexander Kidwell, Noah Shuhart, Dwayne Shuhart, Joe Lease, Gary Holshey and Paul Kelly.
