Margaret Wilhelm Llewellyn, 95, of Dover, Delaware and formerly of Lonaconing, MD died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Silver Lake Center, Dover, DE. Born on November 21, 1920 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late Harry V. Wilhelm and Evelyn (Weir) Wilhelm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Coleman Llewellyn and a grandson, Adam B. Brittingham.
Margaret was a member of the Lonaconing First United Methodist Church where she had been a part of the Women’s Society. She retired after 20 years of service as a worker and Cafeteria Manager for Valley High School. She was a Lifetime Member of Morning Star Temple #1 Pythian Sisters, Lonaconing. She was also a member of the Retired Food Service Association, Senior Citizens of Lonaconing, Lonaconing Homemakers and Frostburg Homemakers.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Gerald C. Llewellyn and wife Gladys of Smyrna, DE and Sharon Ann Myers and husband John of Ocala, FL. There are four grandchildren,Dr. G. Craig Llewellyn and wife Dr. Barbara Llewellyn of Atlanta, GA, Shawn N. Llewellyn and wife Jeannie of Goochland, VA, Cheryl L. Llewellyn and fiancé John Williams of Richmond, VA and Seth B. Michael and wife Laura of Smyrna, DE. There are two great-grandsons, Walker T. Llewellyn of Goochland, VA and Daniel G. Llewellyn of Atlanta, GA..
Friends and Family will be received at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6PM-8PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Fred Iser officiating. Interment will be held at Philos Cemetery, Westernport, MD.
