Lynda Woodle

Lynda "Ann" Woodle, 77, of Douglas Avenue, Lonaconing died Friday, September 2, 2022 at her residence. Born on October 27, 1944 in Tacoma, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henderson and Edith (Fogg) Henderson.

Ann moved to Lonaconing five years ago from Northern Virginia. She graduated from the Annie Wright School for Girls. Most of her life she was a homemaker. She attended St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Lonaconing. She enjoyed fellowship, gardening and crafting; but most of she loved spending time with her constant companion, Precious the cat.

She is survived by two children, Mindy Wilkinson and husband Eric of Lonaconing and Jeffrey Woodle of Reston, VA; she is also survived by her siblings, Scott and Harriet Henderson of Washington.; sisters-in-law, Melissa Ledet (Louis) and Sharon Martinelli (Louis) of Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Joseph Henderson (Susan), Tracie Smith (Preston), Darcy Henderson all of Washington, Philip Corley (Jennifer) and Melissa Hamilton (Jonathan)  of Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Garrett Carskadon officiating. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
