Joyce Warnick

Joyce E. (Airesman) Warnick, 67, of Lonaconing passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born on August 17, 1944 in Ellerslie she was the daughter of the late Harry E. Airesman and Frances (McDonald) Airesman and Stepfather Robert Stinebaugh.

Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frederick Airesman and Don D. Airesman.

Joyce was a graduate of Allegany High School class of 1962  and Catherman's Business School. Before and after becoming and homemaker she had worked various jobs throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth Warnick, Sr.; one son, Kenneth Warnick, Jr. of Lonaconing; one daughter, Misty Warnick and husband Frederick Green of Keyser, WV; one granddaughter, Kendra Akbas and husband Rasit of Brooklyn, NY; one grandson, Aaron Warnick of Keyser, WV; one great-granddaughter, Kardelen Akbas of Brooklyn, NY; one sister, Darlene Arnold and husband Jake of Pocahontas, PA and one special sister-in-law, Jeanne Airesman of Cumberland. Joyce could find the good in everyone and was loved by all.

At her request she was cremated. Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing (www.eichhornmckenzie.com), handled the arrangements.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the dialysis unit for the kind and loving care they provided to Joyce.
