John Francis Bostjancic, 61, of Pekin Street, Lonaconing died Monday, March 21, 2016 at his home. Born on September 15, 1954 in Frostburg he was the son of the late Frank Bostjancic and Bertha (Broadwater) Bostjancic.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Bostjancic and a brother-in-law, Bernie Wilt.
John was a 1972 graduate of Valley High School and had worked in construction trade for Local 616.
He survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cathy (Farrell) Bostjancic; six children, John Robert Bostjancic and Brittany of Pekin, Frank Joseph Bostjancic and Cecolie of Midland, Christopher Bostjancic and Tiffany of Pekin; Shawn Bostjancic at home; Brian Bostjancic and Jessica at home and Sarah Bostjancic and Jamie of Laurel Run; numerous grandchildren and two great-grandsons; mother of two of his grandchildren, Jacqueline Bostjancic Arnold; a sister, Virginia Wilt; a brother, Bobby Robertson and wife Linda and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Friday, March 25, 2016 from Noon-3PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00PM with Pastor Robert “Jack” Harrison officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
