James Edward Williams, 84, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born on October 14, 1930 in Midland he was the son of the late J. Dewey Williams and Nana (Loar) Williams.
He was preceded in death by one brother Dale Williams.
Jim Ed was employed for 58 years in auto parts stores throughout the area. He was well known for vast knowledge of auto parts.
He was Methodist by faith.
He is survived by his sister Mary Louise Viereck of McClean, VA. Also surviving are two nephews, James Williams of Fresno, CA and Jeffrey Newman of Bethesda, MD and a niece Stefanie Williams also of Fresno, CA.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Midland United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Montague officiating. Inurnment will be held privately at Frostburg Memorial Park. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland assisted the family.
