James Carl Crable, 81, formerly of Lonaconing died Monday, September 26, 2011 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy. Born on January 15, 1930 in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late James V. Crable and Mabel (Harrison) Crable.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Crable.
James was catholic by faith and formerly attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lonaconing. He was a veteran MP serving in the U.S. Air Force and a tractor trailer driver.
He is survived by his siblings, John Crable of Salem, VA, Helen Folk of Frostburg, Frances Shroades of California and Carol Minnick of Frostburg.
