James “Bob” Robert Booth, 77, of Broadway Street, Midland died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born on May 13, 1940 in Frostburg he was the son of the late John “Dobs” Booth.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Thomasine Booth and his son Daniel Booth.
Bob was a 1958 graduate of Beall High School. He retired as a painter from Frostburg State University. He loved painting, hunting mushrooms and riding through the mountains. He was a life member of the Midland Sportsmans Club.
He is survived by his sons, Jim Booth and Kim McGowan of Cumberland, Rob Booth and wife Paula of Oldtown and Keith Booth and fiancé Lisa Smith of Midland; four grandchildren, Tommy, Mikey, Bobby and Dustin; four great-grandchildren, Tia, Crimson, Hayla and Ryan; sister, Shelly Drease; brother, Dusty Ray; former wife and friend Rose Booth and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 7-9 at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00PM with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Midland.
