James Bennett, Jr.

James Robert Bennett, Jr., 62, of Eckhart Cemetery Road, Frostburg went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 2, 2010 at the Western Maryland Regional Health Center, Cumberland with all his loving family and pastor at his side. Born May 31, 1948 in Frostburg he was the son of the late James Roy Bennett, Sr. and Elizabeth Eleanor (Ritchey) Bennett.

He was a graduate of Valley High School the class of 1966 and retired from Bay Liner where he worked in the assembly department. He as a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing. A very giving, loving person will be missed very much.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Sue (Booth) Bennett; one daughter, Dianna Lynn Bennett of Lonaconing; two grandchildren, Jacqueline Dianne and Paul William; two sisters, Mary Louise Grumbine and husband Terry of Frostburg and Eleanor Mae Cameron and husband Gordon of Lonaconing; five brothers, Franklin E. Bennett and wife Brenda of Frostburg, Edward E. Bennett and wife Sandra of Frostburg, Richard D. Bennett and wife Kay of LaVale, Vanderbilt E. Bennett and fiancé Brenda See of Barton and Donald J. Bennett of LaVale; numerous nieces and nephews and one special cousin, Sonner Bennett and wife Sandy of Barton.

Family and Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. ( www.eichhornmckenzie.com ), Midland on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Robert Whitecotton officiating. Interment will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg.
