Hiedy Custer

Hiedy Lynn Custer, 59, of National Pike, Frostburg died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Born on July 11, 1962 she was the daughter of  Arlen Lee Miller and Virginia Catherine (Weimer) Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Mike" Leslie Custer Jr and a daughter, Brandy Custer.

Hiedy was a graduate of Valley High School. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sitting outside and loved going to the beach; she especially loved her grandchildren.

Together with her parents she is also survived by her daughter, Tara Layton and husband John of Finzel; two grandchildren, Allex  Paul Albert Klink and Emmahley Lynn Klink and a little girl on the way, Elizabeth Lynn Layton; a sister, Connie; a brother, Arlen “Jody” Miller and wife Theresa; brother-in-law, Jeff Custer; sister-in-law Kelly Custer Wellings and husband Floyd; nieces and nephews, Pammy, Jamie, Jeffrey, Abby, Rikelle, Jeff, Chris, Andrew, Ashley, Skylin, Brody, Sawyer, Lilah and Bailey and special friends, Eugene Garlitz and Kellie Haer.

At her request she will be cremated and a private inurnment will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park at a later date. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing assisted the family.
