Henry Irvin Boore, 93, of Sunlight Drive, Lonaconing died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born in Knapps Meadown on May 5, 1920 he was the son of the late Tilton R. Boore and Bertha Florence (Perrin) Boore.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora Boore and Virginia Anderson and five brothers, Raymond, Norman, James, Melvin and Harry Boore.
Henry was a member of Midland Grace United Methdist Church. He retired from the Kelly Springfield Tire Co. in 1982 .He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Eva Anna (Bridges) Boore; three daughters, Louise Bohn and husband John, Jane Fogg and Elaine Martin and husband Jim; one son, Robert Boore and wife Sandra; nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and numerous neices and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Harry Burchell officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
