Helen Bostjancic

Helen Jane Bostjancic, 66, of Lonaconing died Monday, November 23, 2020 at her home. Born June 12, 1954, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Virginia Mae (Warnick) Clise.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Richard Elkins.

Helen was Methodist by faith.  She was a member of American Legion Post 89 Barton Ladies Auxiliary, McCoole VFW Post 775 Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of Lonaconing VFW Post 5280.  Helen was also honored in recognition and sincere appreciation of distinguished service as a dispatcher in 1999 from George’s Creek Company 55.

She is survived by her long-time companion Bob Scott; two daughters, Jennifer Bostjancic and companion Anthony Steele and Melanie Sue Johnson and husband Bob; five grandchildren, Kiersten Bostjancic and boyfriend Josh Amoroso, Dylan Bostjancic, Chelsae Bostjancic, Hali Shriver and husband Chris and Megan Bostjancic; two great grandchildren, Jamesyn, the son of Kiersten and Delylah, the daughter of Hali; two sisters, Eleanor Elkins and companion Bill Haggerty and Mary Muir and husband Mike; one brother, John T. Clise; one special niece Shelbie Miller and husband Josh; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Family and Friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home P.A., Lonaconing on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Inurnment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions masks and proper social distancing will be required.
