Hazel C. Dunn, 75, of Back Street, Midland died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg. Born in Mt. Savage on June 6, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Peter William Sandvik and Freda Virginia (Chisholm) Sandvik.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Dunn, one sister, Jane Stroupe and four brothers, William Don Sandvik, Ronald Keith Sandvik, George Robert Sandvik and Sheldon Paul Sandvik.
She was a member of the Midland Grace United Methodist Church. Throughout her lifetime she lived in three states, Maryland, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
She is survived by two sisters, Shirley O'Della Hughes and husband John of Eckhart, Patricia Jean Adams and husband Bill of Fawn Grove, PA, one brother-in-law, Russ Stroupe of Charlotte, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland with Rev. George Harpold officiating . Arrangements by the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Midland (www.eichhornmckenzie.com). Condolences can be sent to the family at (www.eichhornmckenzie.com).
