George "Freddy" Frederick Winebrenner, 80, of Frostburg Village Nursing Home and formerly of Carlos, died Friday, June 18, 2010 at the nursing home. Born April 30, 1930 in Carlos, he was the son of the late Floyd Winebrenner and Gladys (Thomas) Winebrenner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Misae (Yotsuhashi) Winebrenner.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII, Korean Conflict. He was the owner of Winebrenner Tavern, Klondike. He was also a member of the Carlos Methodist Church and

He is survived by his son, Rickey Winebrenner and wife Debbie of Carlos; one granddaughter and one grandson, Dana and Logen at home; four sisters, Betty Yates of National, Mary Cutter of Egle Nursing Home, Nettie Cameron of Carlos and Delores Woods of Alabama; one brother, Floyd Winebrenner of Frostburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
