Everett Lee Lewellyn, 95, of Jackson Mountain Road, Lonaconing died Monday, January 30, 2017 at his residence with his wife at his side, holding his hand. Born on August 2, 1921 in Barton he was the son of the late Herbert Phillip Llewellyn and Sarah Gertrude Llewellyn.
He was preceded in death by three siblings, Hilda Schriver, Naomi Rayner and Stephen Lewellyn.
Everett was a veteran of U.S. Army serving in WWll. He was a farmer all of his life, he had an impressive green thumb and he could witch water. As his health declined he remained at home where he was taken care of by his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Ruth (Fazenbaker) Llewellyn; three children, Thomas Llewellyn, Ed and wife Margie Llewellyn, Jim and wife Kathy Llewellyn; seven grandchildren, Kevin and wife Mel, Missy and Ben, Jesse and wife Jade, Jeremy, Justin and Samantha, Brittany, and Doug;two great-grandchilden, Ethan and Dravin; three siblings, Porter Llewellyn, Arbutus DeBouch and John Llewellyn and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life to be held at Everett's residence at 19613 Jackson Mountain Road, Lonaconing on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:00PM. Inurnment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Moscow Mills. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home P.A., Lonaconing assisted the family.
