Ellen Jean James, 82, of Elklick Road, Gilmore died Friday, December 26, 2014 at home. Born on September 20, 1932 in Westernport she was the daughter of the late Walter Fazenbaker and Evelyn (Duckworth) Fazenbaker Michael.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Junior James on June 30, 1997, two children, Thomas "Butch" James, Jr. and Kathleen J. Wilson and her sisters, Susie Layton, Ann Durst, Shelia Dawson and Rebecca Booth.
She was Christian by faith and retired as a custodian from the Allegany Board of Education.
She is survived by her grandsons, JJ Wilson and wife Malo of Gilmore and Jessie James and wife Tina of Midland; five great-grandchildren, Jay Wilson, Jarred Wilson, Justin Wilson, Elizabeth "EJ" James and Jessie James, II; two brothers David A. Michael and Michael W. Michael both of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing with Pastor Mark Durst officiating. Arrangements by Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing.
