Elizabeth Anne Campbell, 60, of Smith Hill Road, Midland passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her residence. Born in Frostburg on May 16, 1955 she was the daughter of Robert Seibert of Frostburg and the late Mildred "Sis"(Walbert) Seibert.
She was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Paige Campbell.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she was part of the Ladies Sodality. A graduate of Beall High School, she earned her nursing degree from Allegany College of Maryland. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She was also a member of America Legion Post #189, Barton where she was second vice.
Her life was compassionately devoted to helping other people and her family. The pride and joy of her life was her grandson Layton. She fought a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband Ed Campbell; two sons, Jeremy M. Jefcoat and wife Shalla of Dothan, AL and Joseph R. Jefcoat and wife Kera of LaVale; one grandson, Layton Jefcoat of LaVale; two sisters, Mitzie Warner and husband Dan of Stewartstown, PA and Eileen Nolan of Edgewater, MD; two brothers, Robert Seibert and wife Marti of Orlando, FL and John Seibert and wife Gillian of Spotsylvania,VA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Midland with Rev. Paul J. Breczinski St. Stephen Bradshaw Parochial Vicar officiating. Inurnment will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Midland at a later date.
Pallbearers are Mike Spataro, Harry Devlin, Sean Devlin, James “Fugi” McMahon, Greg Marshall and Ray Cutter. Honorary pallbearers, which are to meet at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church by 9:45 A.M. on Friday, are the members of Midland Voluntary Fire Department and Members of Barton Legion Post 189.
