Elda Martin

Elda V. (Spiker) Martin, 83, of Lonaconing, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Born on December 10, 1938 in Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the late Andrew C. Spiker and Iva W. (Beeman) Spiker.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris (Spiker) Davis, Loretta Spiker and Delma Houck and two brothers, James E. Spiker and Roy Spiker.

She is survived by her children, Lane C. Spiker, Laura Martin, Guy Martin and special friend Pamela Crowe, Jimmy Martin and wife Tracie and Tina Magruder and husband Bobby all of Lonaconing and her grandchildren, Ashley Martin, Cindy Crossland and wife Chaise, Johnny Twigg and wife Raychel, Austin Martin and wife Brooke and Colby Barclay and special friend Conner Spiker. She is also survived by a brother, David Spiker and wife Jo Ann; two sisters, Fay (Spiker) Shockey and husband Robert and Maryanne (Spiker) Engelman; a sister-in-law, Franca Spiker and a brother-in-law, William Davis.

At her request she will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at Beeman Cemetery on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 3:30 PM with Rev. Tom Morgan officiating. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing is handling the arrangements.
