Doris Davis

Doris June Davis, 78, of Charlestown Road, Lonaconing died Saturday May 18, 2019 at Egle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lonaconing.  Born on June 29, 1940 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late Andrew Spiker and Iva (Beeman) Spiker.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Spiker, a sister Luretta Spiker, sister-in-laws, Linda Dunn & Marion Mitchell, brother-in-laws, Jim Davis, Don Davis, Bob Davis, and Jerry Davis.

Doris was Methodist by faith. She had worked in dietary at Egle Nursing Home. She enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers. Sunday dinners spent with her family were a joy in her life.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years William “Bill” Davis, Sr.; six children William “Billy” Davis, Jr. and wife Kathy Ann of Lonaconing, Susie Workman and husband Doug of Frostburg, Nancy K. Davis and Roy of Lonaconing, Patsy Stullenbarger and husband Alan of Lonaconing, Mary Lou Cook and husband John of Keyser and Tim Davis and wife Kathy Lynn of Lonaconing; ten grandchildren Mandy, Sami, Bret, Molly, Lori, Joel, Tyler, Kelly, Briley and Claire; ten great-grandchildren Emily, Scotty, Jacob, Madison, Kanyon, Cora, Brooklynn, Josie, Colten, Killian and a new baby due in June; four sisters Dot Kyle and husband Pete, Elda Martin, Fay Shockey and husband Bobby and Mary Ann Engelman; two brothers David Spiker and wife JoAnn and Jim Spiker and wife Franca; brothers-in-law Jack Davis, Paul Davis and wife Shirley and Millard Dunn; sisters-in-law Soo Davis, Joyce Davis and Suzi Davis; three aunts Norma Lee Bosley, Norma Brode, Edna Beeman and numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece Terri Nightengale and very close family friend Lisa Llewellyn.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Bob Foote officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Beeman Family Cemetery at a later date.
