Donna Lee Michaels, 76, of Pekin Street, Nikep died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on November 22, 1940 in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late John Howard O’Haver and Rosa Edna (Broadwater) O’Haver.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy William Michaels on February 19, 2008 and five of her siblings Jim O’Haver, Mary Speelman, Olin O’Haver, Wilma Jean Warnick and Anna Colmer.
She attended the Bethel Holiness Church, Lonaconing. She was a 1958 graduate of Valley High School, Lonaconing. She had many jobs throughout her life but eventually retired from Heartland of Keyser, WV where she worked in laundry.
She is survived by her daughter Terri Michaels; one granddaughter Kayla Parish and husband Rickey; two grandchildren Korbyn Izeha Parish and Kyndall Leigh Parish; one brother Francis O’Haver and wife Deloris of Crossville, TN; two sisters Doris Whiteman and husband Phil of Swanton and Nellie Broadwater of Pekin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 2:00PM with Rev. Charles Winebrenner officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
The family would like to thank WMHS Hospice Service and Home Healthcare for the excellent care provided to Donna.
Pallbearers will be Ellis Warnick, Troxell Warnick, Adam Warnick, Robert Broadwater, Phil Whiteman and James O’Haver.
