Donald Lee Russell, Jr., 64, of Michael Road, Barton died Friday, June 14, 2024 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser. Born on August 26, 1959, he was the son of the late Donald Lee Russell, Sr., and Thelma (Guthrie) Russell.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Dwayne Russell.
Donnie was a 1977 graduate of Valley High School. He was a truck driver for many years but always a Farmer. He loved animals, especially his dog, horses, and his donkey. He was a member of various associations including the Appalachian Wagon Train Association, the Pennsylvania Equine Association and the Tri-County Horse and Mule Club.
He is survived by his sister, Melissa Martz and husband Paul and his nephews, Jamie Russell, Shane Russell, Noah Martz and Aaron Martz and his dear friend and caregiver, Heather Stafford.
At his request there will be no services. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing is assisting the family.
