Delores Walker Mcneil

Delores "Suzie" Walker McNeil, 68, of Klondike Road, Frostburg died Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.   Born May 28, 1942 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late Theodore Plummer and Edith (Jones) Plummer.

She was preceded in death by her husband William W. "Bill" McNeil on August 8, 2005, two sisters, Pat Dressel and Betty Jane Dressel and one brother, James "Pete" Jones and special friend, Kathleen Jenkins.

She was member of Gods Ark of Safety, Frostburg. She worked in the housekeeping department of Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland for numerous years where she made many friends. She was one of the original organizers of the Klondike Rebels baseball team and she was active in the Boy Scouts during her children's youth.

She is survived by her children, Francis H. Walker, Jr. and wife Ruth-Ann of Frostburg, James Walker and friend Debbie of Cumberland, Leslie Walker of LaVale, Tammy Broadwater and husband Larry of Lonaconing, Robert Walker and wife Diana of Midlothian and Candy McNeil-Ross and husband Allen of Woodland; grandchildren, Amanda Kruise and husband Bob, Francis H. Walker III, James T. Walker, Jr., Corey M. Walker, Tiffanie M. Hardman and husband Aaron, Billy Warnick and wife Erica, Delores "Suzie" Warnick, Austin McNeil, Jonathan Ross and Kali Ross; great-grandchildren, Rachael Walker, Paige Ginevan, Taylor Walker, Cameron Walker, Hailey Warnick, Cheyenne Warnick, Hannah Warnick, Riley Warnick and Mason Warnick and one great-great-granddaughter, Destiney Burgess; brother-in-law, Bill Dressel and special friends, Carole Hare, Mary Horner, Kenneth Landis and Tom Thomas.

Family and Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. ( www.eichhornmckenzie.com ), Midland, on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 11:00 with Rev. Everett Spence officiating. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at God's Ark of Safety, Frostburg. Inurnment will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg at a later date.
