Colleen Goodwin Beeman Kuhn, 93, died June 5, 2012 at The Elizabeth Scott Community Nursing Home Maumee, Ohio.
Born May 16, 1919 in Lonaconing, Maryland to Raymond and Maria Goodwin, she was the second oldest of 5 siblings. Known as ‘Cody’, she was a great sprinter who grew up to be a beautiful woman who absolutely loved ballroom dancing. Colleen will be remembered for her hard work, kindness and dedication to her family. She worked for most of her adult life with the A&P Grocery chain in various positions.
She is survived by her children, Colleen Taylor (George) of Suffield, Ohio, Don Beeman (Susan) of Waterville, Ohio; grandchildren, Douglas (Brenda) Taylor of Akron, OH, Ronald (Denise) Taylor of Springfield, OH, Perri Taylor of Hartville, OH, Brian (Mindy) Taylor of Uniontown, OH, Austin Beeman of Maumee, OH and Aimee Beeman of Chicago, IL.; great grandchildren, Nicole Trionfante (Cardyl), Ashley Taylor, Rachel Taylor and Mckenna Taylor, and siblings: Helen Smith, Leslie D. Goodwin (Margaret Ann), Phyllis Rankin (Calvin) and Flora Jane Goodwin wife of the late Raymond A. Goodwin.
Colleen is preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Beeman and Charles H. Kuhn, her brother Raymond Austin Goodwin and sister Arlene Beeman.
A graveside service will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Fred Iser officiating. Arrangements by Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing (www.eichhornmckenzie.com).
