Chance Martin

Chance Edward Martin, 33, of Delmar, MD, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at his residence. Born on March 10, 1988 he was the son of Gregory B. Martin and Roxane Martin of Pittsville, MD.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Martin, grandmother, Carolyn Dolly and an uncle, Tommy Wynn Kinney.

Having been a student at Park Side High School, Chance went on to be employed at the Car Store in Salisbury, MD. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing the guitar, riding BMX bikes and skateboards and drinking the occasional beer. He loved his time spent in the mountains and going to the river, where he would fish, a favorite pastime of his. Chance was a fun-loving guy, never turning down the opportunity to have a good time.

Together with his parents he is also survived by siblings, Samantha Seaton, Gregory Martin Jr of Delmar and Bobby Ray Martin of Annapolis; niece Savannah Seaton and her father, Jeff Seaton of Delmar; grandmother Sylvia Jean Martin of Westernport; grandfather Thomas Kinney of Moorefield, WV and tons of aunts, uncles, cousins and far too many friends to name.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from Noon- 2:00 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating. Interment will be held at Philos Cemetery, Westernport. A Celebration of Life will be held on the Eastern Shore at a later date.

Due the restrictions of the Covid-19 Virus, face masks and the practice of safe social distancing will be required.
