Brandon Lee Spiker

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brandon Lee Spiker, 39, of West Main Street, Lonaconing, Maryland, who left this world on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Born on July 1, 1985, in Cumberland, Brandon was the cherished son of Jody Spiker and Pam Gallagher.

Brandon was a kind-hearted and loving individual who touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a wonderful childhood filled with adventure, playing sports and riding motorbikes. A passionate music enthusiast, Brandon found joy and inspiration in the sounds of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith, and Metallica. He also had a deep love for working outdoors and operating heavy machinery, finding fulfillment in hard work and the satisfaction of a job well done. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, who were the center of his world.

Brandon is survived by his devoted parents, Jody Spiker and Pam Gallagher; his two brothers, Shawn Spiker (wife Christen Spiker) and Tyler McMillian; and his two beloved children, Aleigha and Ayden Carr. He will also be lovingly remembered by his niece Paige Spiker; his aunt Melissa and her daughter Zoey; four special cousins—Jordan Gray, Tommy Booth, Tommy Fairgrieve, and Daniel Miller—as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides of the family and three uncles who held a special place in his heart.

A memorial service to celebrate Brandon’s life will be held at a later date, with details to follow.

Brandon’s kind spirit, warm heart, love for life, and passion for working outdoors will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
