Bonnie Sue (Lashbaugh) Broadwater, 77, of Lonaconing died Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Egle Nursing and Rehab, Lonaconing. Born on December 20, 1942 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late Alex and Margaret (Weber) Lashbaugh.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Eichhorn and Edna’s husband Aug.
Bonnie Sue was 1960 graduate of Valley High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lonaconing. She was also a member and past president of the Goodwill Ladies Auxiliary and a member with the Allegany Garrett Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association, and also served on the PTA for many years. Anyone who knew Bonnie Sue knew that she was an actual angel on earth and a true lady.
She is survived by her loving husband Clarence Broadwater, whom she was married to for 60 years, two children, Alexa Broadwater Moses and Clarence Leslie Broadwater of Lonaconing and wife Beth Ann; three grandchildren, Sarah Moses of Baltimore, Laura Moses and fiancé Bryan Adams of Flintstone and Kendall Broadwater and fiancé Justin Mellott of Little Orleans; one great-grandchild, Kali Adams of Flintstone; numerous nieces and nephews; and some very special people in her life; Bob Moses, Dot and Bill Neff, Randall Brown, Bob Foote, the Holshey family, and her Goodwill Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary family.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home P.A., Lonaconing on Friday July 3, 2020 from 4:00PM-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Goodwill Ladies Auxiliary, Lonaconing.
