Arland Phillips, 79, of Old Beechwood Road, Lonaconing passed away at his home on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Born on January 20, 1935 in Lonaconing he was the son of the late Hazel (Phillips) Rogish.
He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Lennie (Steele) Phillips; son, David Phillips and wife Charity; two grandchildren, William and James; one uncle, Charles Phillips and many other special family and friends.
Arland retired from the Lonaconing Hardware Store.
Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 2-4PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. George Loar officiating. Interment will be held at Steele Cemetery, Lonaconing.
